Environment Canada officials say some extremely cold weather is on its way.
Forecasters say the frigid temperatures are expected from 11 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
“Be prepared for very cold conditions,” forecasters say.
“Temperatures may be colder than those that have been seen the last several years. Remember frostbite can develop in minutes on exposed skin. Keep dry to stay warmer.”
The projected high temperature for Monday is -10°C, with the low dropping to -19°C overnight.
The projected high temperature for Tuesday is -15°C, with the low dropping to -18°C overnight.
Wednesday’s projected temperatures is expected to remain at 11°C.
