A garage fire, just outside of Wallaceburg on Thursday, February 13, 2025, is under investigation.
Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue was dispatched to 27856 St. Clair Road, near Border Road, just before 1:30 p.m.
“They arrived at a detached garage fire,” Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue officials said in a media release.
“Station #3 – Wallaceburg (full-time and volunteer), Station #2 – Chatham were all on scene with the assistance Station #4 – Dover and Station #5 – Tupperville for water shuttle. The Command Unit, 1-13 responded. Crews are currently conducting overhaul and looking for hotspots.”
There were no injuries to report and the fire is under investigation by Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue investigators, officials say.
