Gas line struck during two-vehicle crash in St. Clair Township

OPP officials allege: Road closures are in place following a two-vehicle collision in St. Clair Township.

On February 19, 2025, shortly after 7 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision between two passenger vehicles at the intersection of Petrolia Line and Mandaumin Road, St. Clair Township.

Three individuals were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the collision, a gas line was struck, causing multiple road closures.

Mandaumin Road to Lasalle Line, Mandaumin Road to Rokeby Line, Petrolia Line to Fairweather Road, and Petrolia Line to Waterworks Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

The closures are expected to remain in place for an extended period, to allow for the repair of the gas line.
