Bicycle violations in Wallaceburg leads to B&E, theft, trespassing & assault charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 27, 2025, at approximately 6:28 p.m., as a result of a person stop on Murray Street for a bicycle violation, a 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was discovered by the Chatham-Kent Police Service to have unendorsed warrants for his arrest.

This was due to failing to attend court on multiple charges including:

– 1 Count for Breaking and Entering

– 1 Count for Theft Under $5000

– 1 count for Trespassing at Night

– 2 Counts for Failing to Attend Court

– 1 Count for Assault

He was remanded into custody and transported to South West Regional Detention Centre.

His next court appearance is scheduled for March 7, 2025, by video.
