Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man is facing charges after a disturbance at a business on Richmond Street.
Chatham-Kent police say officers responded April 12 at about 9:04 p.m. after a reported altercation in a drive-thru. The incident began as a verbal dispute with an employee and escalated into a physical confrontation at the service window.
The accused was charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
He was released with a future court date of July 20, 2026.
