Mischief, uttering threats, failing to attend court charges laid in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 3, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a 33-year-old Chatham man was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service on reasonable probable grounds for mischief. He was released with conditions and a future court date of March 17, 2025.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 3, 2025, at approximately 12:24 p.m., a 39-year-old Chatham man was apprehended and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The suspect threatened to assault the owner of a vehicle after intentionally driving a scooter into the side of the vehicle at a local business in Chatham. He was arrested on charges of mischief and uttering threats. The accuses also possessed a criminal record for prior offences, including harassment, mischief, and impaired driving. He is currently being held for a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 3, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m., a 41-year-old Dresden man was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. He possessed three outstanding warrants for failing to attend court, failing to comply and failing to comply with his probation order. He was released with a future court date of May 2, 2025.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 3, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m., a 46-year-old Chatham man was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. He possessed four outstanding endorsed warrants for failure to attend Court, theft under $5,000 and possession under $5,000. Subsequently, he was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he is currently being held for bail.
