Robbery along the waterfront in Sarnia

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On March 10, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m. a female party, who is 73 years of age, was walking in the area of the Sarnia Waterfront, near the MacPherson fountain.

The female victim was abruptly pushed to the ground from behind which caused her to fall.

She suffered scrapes and bruises as a result of this fall.

The male party, who pushed her, then went through the females pockets and removed a set of keys.

The male expressed frustration that he did not locate items of value and ran off in a Southbound direction.

The male is described as being in his late 20’s, with a thin build, wearing a camoflauge sweater, dark jeans and a black beanie hat.

The Sarnia Police Service would like to speak to a female passerby who assisted the female victim, at the time of this offence, to determine if she has any additional details that may assist officers in identifying this individual.
