Two Chatham women charged after disturbance linked to no-contact condition

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 20-year-old Chatham woman and a 19-year-old Chatham woman are facing charges after police were dispatched to an address in Chatham for a disturbance on Saturday afternoon.

Chatham-Kent police say officers responded at approximately 2:24 p.m. on Aug. 22 and found a woman who was on conditions not to associate with another woman.

As a result, the 20-year-old woman is facing two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking, while the 19-year-old woman is facing a charge of facilitating a breach.

Both were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of Sept. 28, 2026.
