Chatham-Kent Bahá’í community to host New Year celebration

The Bahá’ís of Chatham-Kent are inviting the community to celebrate the Bahá’í New Year with an evening of cultural unity, food and entertainment.

The event will take place on March 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at St. Clair College’s Thames Campus Arena, 999 Grand Ave. West, Chatham.

Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional clothing from their country of origin or any attire they feel comfortable in. Guests are also invited to bring a dish or dessert to share as part of a potluck dinner.

The evening will feature a program highlighting different cultures, along with entertainment, games and dancing. The event is free and open to all.
