Monitoring device removed in Dover, trespassing, theft and mischief charges laid in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2025, at approximately 6:38 p.m., Recovery Science Corporation contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Emergency Communication Center about a tampered alert involving a 34-year-old male from Windsor. The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to the call. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the accused had removed his monitoring device. The accused voluntarily surrendered himself to the police without incident. He was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and is currently pending bail.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 18, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 40-year-old Wallaceburg, man was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The accused possessed an outstanding warrant for mischief under $5,000. He was released with conditions and a future court date. Chatham-Kent Police Service officers searched the area and located a 34-year-old man from Chatham and a 41-year-old woman also from Chatham. The accused were arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where they were charged with one count of trespassing at night and one count of theft under $5000. The accused were released with a future court date of April 14th, 2025
