The 43rd annual Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame Awards Banquet is set to be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the UAW Hall in Wallaceburg.

Doors open at 5 p.m.
The head speaker this year is Christine Simpson.
“She was the first female voice heard at Maple Leaf Gardens as their game host in 1995,” Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame officials say.
“Her broadcasting career included over 20 years with Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada. South of the border she has worked with ABC, ESPN, MSG and the NHL Network.”
Tickets are $70 and can be purchased at Desjardins Insurance in Wallaceburg.
The 2024 annual award winners are as follows:
– Builder: Elric Contractors
– Coach of the Year: Jake Lozon
– Outstanding Achievement: Emma Gorski and Megan McCarter
– Athletes of the Year: Ferrah Blackbird and Lucas Laprise
– Ray Aarssen / WSHOF Scholarship: Nash Grealis
The 2025 inductees are as follows:
– Female Athlete: Deanna Kerkhof
– Male Athlete: Bill MacArthur Jr
– Builder: Rob MacLachlan
– Coach / Official: Chris Bergeron
– Team: 2006/2007 Wallaceburg Minor Midget All Ontario Champs
