Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue has issued an alert about fraudulent donation scams.
“Residents in CK are reporting calls from ‘the fire department’ asking for donations,” Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue officials said on social media.
“CKFR will never ask for personal or financial information. CKFR is reminding residents to be aware of suspicious emails, texts, or calls, and please report to Chatham-Kent Police Service.”
