With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Lawrence Houston, a vibrant spirit that touched so many lives.
Lawrence, 94, passed away on March, 18th 2025, in Chatham.
Lawrence was a devoted husband to the late ruth Houston and a loving father to Linda (Gary) and Mary (late bear). Lawrence was son to (late) Ruby Houston and raised by his grandparents (late) Ross and (late) Ella Houston. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Matt (Christine), Kristy (Trevor) and Darby (Jason), as well as his cherished great-grandchildren Xander, Emerson, Ruthie, Finley, Luke and Joel.
Lawrences’ love for his family was evident in every moment he spent with them. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April, 5th 2025 at Wallaceburg First Baptist Church with visitation at 10 a.m. and the service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Those who wish to honour his memory may do so with contribution to the Dialysis Unit at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance or the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
