Update: At 8:40 PM EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts.
This line of severe thunderstorms is located from Leamington to Point Edward, moving east at 70 km/h.
Hazard: Up to 90 km/h wind gusts.
Locations impacted include:
Leamington, Chatham, Petrolia, Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Oil Springs.
This line of thunderstorms is weakening.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Hail and locally heavy rain are also possible.
Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

This line of severe thunderstorms is located from Harrow to west of Sarnia, moving east at 100 km/h
Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts.
Severe thunderstorms will be near:
Sarnia around 8:20 PM EDT.
Locations impacted include:
Sarnia, Chatham, Tecumseh, Kingsville, Belle River, Lakeshore, Wheatley Provincial Park, Tilbury and Wallaceburg.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Hail and locally heavy rain are also possible.
