Crash on the 401 in Chatham-Kent leads to minor injuries and careless driving charge

OPP officials allege: An individual suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

On April 2, 2025, at approximately 6:50 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Chatham-Kent Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the ditch, on Highway 401, in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

As a result of the investigation, the driver, a 24-year-old from Windsor, was charged with: Careless driving.
