OPP officials allege: On April 7, 2025, shortly after 9:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to an address on Applewood Drive in Petrolia, for a report of stolen vehicle.
The investigation determined that an unknown individuals entered onto the property between 5:50 p.m. and 6:04 p.m. and proceeded to steal a vehicle that was parked in the laneway.
The stolen vehicle is described as a 1997 gold/brown Buick Century with black spray paint along the front wheel wells and side trim, and a dent on the driver’s side of the hood.
The investigation is continuing.
