Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 8, 2024, a 41-year-old female from Chatham appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham and was sentenced to a period of incarceration, followed by a 12-month probation order. The individual had been convicted of the following offences:
– Trespassing at Night – August 8, 2020
– Fail to Comply with Probation – October 13, 2021

As part of the probation conditions, the individual was ordered to report in person to Probation and Parole Services within two working days of her release. She was released on July 8, 2024, but failed to report as required. Due to her non-compliance and unknown whereabouts, a warrant was issued for Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.
On April 14, 2025, the individual was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service based on the outstanding endorsed warrant. She was later released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on April 24, 2025.
