Wallaceburg District Secondary School (WDSS) is inviting students and community members to explore opportunities in the skilled trades during an upcoming Skilled Trades Info Night.
The event will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the school’s main gym.
Open to students in Grades 7 through 12, the evening will feature presentations and information booths from industry leaders, local businesses, union representatives and colleges. The goal is to help youth and families learn more about potential pathways into the trades.
The event is also open to the wider community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, gather resources and connect with potential mentors in the trades.
Community members are encouraged to attend and support local youth in learning about viable career options.
