Grade 5 students at three Catholic schools in Wallaceburg have completed the V.I.P. (Values, Influences and Peers) program, a police-led initiative focused on promoting positive decision-making and responsible citizenship.
Ceremonies took place in early April at Christ the King, St. Elizabeth, and Holy Family Catholic Schools. Graduates received V.I.P. t-shirts from Jack Renders of the Wallaceburg Knights of Columbus, and certificates were presented by Special Constable Hakr of the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
The V.I.P. program is delivered annually in partnership with local law enforcement and community organizations.
