A Chatham Councillor is looking to reinstate the dust suppression program in Chatham-Kent.
Councillor Michael Bondy entered a notice of motion at the Monday, May 26, 2025 Council meeting.
“Council instruct administration to reinstate the dust suppression program immediately with the goal of having an application completed this calendar year,” Bondy said in his motion.
The program was removed by Council from the budget during the last round of deliberations in November.
The item is set to appear on the agenda for the next Council meeting, scheduled to take place on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Civic Centre in Chatham at 6 p.m.
