Young anglers will gather at the Dresden Legion on Saturday, June 7 for the Bob Everitt Memorial Kids Fishing Derby.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to children in two age groups — juniors eight and under, and seniors aged nine to 14. Organizers promise a day filled with food, prizes and family fun as kids test their fishing skills in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The annual derby honours the late Bob Everitt and aims to spark a lifelong love of fishing in the next generation.
