Sarnia Police Service officials allege: The Sarnia Police Service – Traffic Services Unit (TSU) continues its proactive enforcement efforts across the City of Sarnia.
On June 3, 2025, TSU officers were conducting speed enforcement on Old Lakeshore Road in Bright’s Grove, where drivers found exceeding the speed limit received both enforcement action and educational guidance.
So far this year, there has been an approximate 150% increase in both provincial and municipal charges issued by the Sarnia Police Service compared to the same period last year. These charges range from aggressive and distracted driving to operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The Sarnia Police Service is dedicated to enhancing road safety by actively monitoring traffic and educating the public through continued enforcement efforts.
