On Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the age of 93, Mary ‘Donna’ Nantais passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. After 5 years apart, she has now been reunited with her loving husband Richard ‘Dick’ Nantais and will be remembered as a cherished mother by Fred (Norine), Lynn Brown (Richard) and Tammy Marchand (Scott).
Proud Grandmother of Jeremy, Jeffery, Jessica, Tracy, Rhonda, Jason, Cara, Cassy and the late Adam (1981) and Guy (2005) and great grandmother of 8. Daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Countryman) Gallerno and dear sister of Harold Gallerno and the late Mildred, Etta, Bud, Chuck, John and Jiggs.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Donna was an avid volunteer throughout her life especially through being a long-time member of the CWL as well as making soup for the Meals on Wheels Program.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Lambton on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 12pm until 12:45pm. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 1pm. Funeral arrangements under the care of the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231). Richard and Donna will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery during a private service following mass.
