With heavy hearts we announce that Gordon George Modde passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the age of 67.
Reunited with his parents Gordon and Albertine Modde.
He will be remembered dearly by his children Kyle Modde (Rachel) and Staci Modde (Scott).
Gord was extremely proud of his grandsons Gage and Kade and enjoyed spending all the time he could with them.
His children would like to express a loving thank you to his sisters Linda Hall (the late George) and Patti Blondia as well as his good friends Randy VanDorselaar and Joe Pataki for all the support and help you have given our father during his illness, words cannot express how much this meant to us.
A thank you as well to the doctors and nurse at CKHA – Sydenham Campus, Dr. Kim and St. Jospeh’s Hospice in Sarnia for all your kindnesses.
Gord was known for being a hardworking man but, who could still carve out time during the day to watch a Montreal Canadians Game or go for a ride on his Harley Motorcycle.
Everyone is invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1pm and then to his Celebration of Life which will take place at a later date.
He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery during a private family ceremony.
