Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 33-year-old Dresden man has been arrested in connection with a historical domestic violence investigation dating back to 2021.
The man was wanted on several outstanding warrants after a woman reported repeated abuse between November 2020 and March 2021. The incidents included multiple assaults, threats and property damage.
On Thursday morning, the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s Bail Compliance and Warrant Apprehension Team located and arrested the individual at an address in Dresden.
He faces nine charges, including three counts of assault causing bodily harm, multiple counts of assault, uttering threats, and mischief under $5,000.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
