Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 24-year-old Blenheim woman was arrested on June 23, 2025, at approximately 8:48 p.m. on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham, in connection with an outstanding warrant.
The warrant stemmed from a September 17, 2023, traffic stop, during which the accused provided false identification to police. She was later charged with obstructing a peace officer and issued a Provincial Offence Notice for driving without a licence.
The woman failed to appear in court on two occasions and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She was located and taken into custody on June 23 and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
