OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a serious collision in Wheatley.
At approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Erie Street South, Wheatley.
One individual was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Erie Street South is closed between Hickson Road and Deer Run Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
