Trespassing leads to criminal charges

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On July 4, 202 at 8:30pm, police were called to a retail store in the 800 block of Exmouth Street for an assaultive female.

Investigation revealed that the female had attended the store property when customers alerted security to her disruptive disturbing behaviour.

Security located the female behind the building at the rear of the property.

She was pulling her pants up and had just defecated on the ground.

She ultimately refused to clean it up with a bag, and was ordered off the property.

Shortly after being removed from the property, the female returned to loiter at the doors where she was again confronted by two security officers.

The female shoved one security officer leaving a small scratch.

Police were called and arrived to observe security dealing with her and she was subsequently taken into police custody.

A 46-year-old woman of no fixed address was held for bail (not released by police) on the following charges:

– Assault

– Mischief under $5000
