OPP officials allege: Police are investigating a theft from a business in Petrolia.
On July 10, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m., an unknown individual arrived at a business on Fletcher Street in the town of Petrolia, riding an e-bike style scooter. The individual entered the business and attempted to purchase alcohol. When the transaction could not be completed, the individual left the store without paying for the items.
The suspect fled the scene on the e-bike scooter.
Photos of the suspect have been attached for reference.
The investigation is continuing.
