Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham man is facing several charges after allegedly violating his release conditions and assaulting a woman.
On the evening of July 18, Chatham-Kent police were called to a residence on Kendall Street. Officers say a man, who was under conditions not to contact the victim or attend her home, went to the residence, tried to speak with her, and allegedly pushed her. Police say he also entered the home unlawfully.
The 36-year-old was arrested shortly after and is being held for bail on charges of assault, unlawfully in a dwelling house, and two counts of failing to comply with release conditions.
