Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Leamington man was arrested in Wallaceburg July 18 after police say he resisted arrest during a call for a medical emergency.
Chatham-Kent police responded to Murray Street around 11 p.m., where they found a man holding an uncapped needle. Officers say he refused to comply with orders and a brief struggle followed before he dropped the needle.
Police say the 42-year-old was wanted on warrants connected to a June theft investigation in Chatham, and was under conditions not to associate with a woman he was seen with during that incident.
He is facing new charges of resisting arrest and failing to comply with an undertaking and was held for bail.
