Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On July 27, 2025 at approximately 6:10 p.m., police received a 911 call regarding a possible drowning at the Canatara Beach.
Police, fire and EMS quickly responded and rescued a 29-year-old male from the water.
CPR was commenced and the male was transported to the Bluewater Health where he remains in Intensive Care in critical condition.
The identity of the person involved is not being released.
