Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 55-year-old Chatham man was arrested Wednesday after turning himself in on a warrant issued for breaching the conditions of a peace bond.
Chatham-Kent police say the man failed to complete a Partner Assault Response Program as ordered in July 2022 and did not provide proof of completion to the Crown Attorney’s office. As a result, he was discharged from the program and a warrant was issued.
He was arrested at police headquarters around 3:45 p.m. and charged with breaching a peace bond. He was released with a future court date set for Sept. 8.
