Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 11, 2025, at approximately 7:06 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at an address on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
The woman attended the location regarding a property dispute. During the encounter, she forcibly entered the residence and, when confronted by the occupants, threatened to return with a baseball bat.
Police attended and arrested the 32-year-old Chatham woman for unlawfully entering a dwelling and uttering threats.
She was subsequently transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and later released with conditions.
A future court date is set for September 22, 2025.
