The annual Rob Herder Memorial Golf Tournament has raised $9,000 in support of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.
The event, organized by the Chatham-Kent Police Association, brought together community members, sponsors and supporters to honour the memory of Rob Herder while raising funds for local Alzheimer programs.
Organizers thanked the Ridge Landfill Community Trust, along with corporate sponsors TekSavvy, Clarke’s Construction, Johnson Controls and Canadian Tire Blenheim, for helping make the tournament a success. Hole sponsors also contributed to the fundraising efforts.
“Together, we are making a difference,” organizers said in a statement.
