Several Wallaceburg students pedalled away with new bikes and helmets this summer thanks to the Read to Ride program at the Wallaceburg library branch.
The program, supported by the Knights of Pythias, encouraged local children to keep up their reading during the summer months.
Library assistant Marta Dolbear and Doug McCallum, chair of the Read to Ride program for the Knights of Pythias, joined students for the prize presentation.
Winners included Lauren Groendyk and Charley Hogan in the Grade 1–2 category, and Elijah Baldwin and Nora White (pictured below) in the Grade 3–4 category.
