Residents will have a chance to safely dispose of unwanted materials during Household Hazardous Waste Day on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
The free drop-off event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veolia Environmental Services, located at 141 Prosperity Way in Chatham.
Items accepted include household hazardous waste, fertilizers, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and electronic waste.
