Parade of Chefs gala raises more than $210,000 for Chatham-Kent Health Alliance

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s 2025 Parade of Chefs Charity Gala raised more than $210,000 in support of local healthcare.

Held Sept. 27 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre, the sold-out event brought together 175 guests for an evening inspired by the spirit and style of flamenco. The celebration featured local food, live performances, and a strong display of community generosity.

“Once again, Parade of Chefs was truly a night to remember,” said Christine Mitchell, president and CEO of the Foundation. “The energy in the room, the generosity of our community, and the incredible culinary talent all came together to create something truly special. Best of all, the proceeds will go right back into supporting our hospital and the patients who depend on it.”

Chefs from The Ghurka Lounge, Forte Resto-Lounge, The John D. Bradley Convention Centre, Bambinas, Yardie Vibez and The Spanish Pig presented a range of dishes in a multi-station dining experience. The evening also featured flamenco performances, live music, and vibrant décor that transformed the venue into a celebration of colour and motion.

Community and corporate support played a major role in the gala’s success. The Ultimate Sponsor was CIBC Private Wealth: The Seabrook Financial Group, joined by Diamond Sponsors Precise ParkLink and TD Bank Group, along with several Gold Sponsors including Apollo Property Management, Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club, CIBC, CM Design & Print, JMC Distributing, St. Clair College Alumni Association, Unique Tool & Gauge, and TekSavvy Solutions Inc.

A highlight of the evening was the Foundation’s first-ever “$10K in 10 Minutes Challenge,” which brought in $15,000 for the CKHA Patient Assistance Fund.

“You could just feel the excitement and pride in the room,” said Foundation board chair Rocky Gaudrault. “It was one of those nights that reminds you why our community is so special; people coming together, having a great time, and doing something amazing for local healthcare.”

An online auction extended the excitement beyond the gala, raising additional funds to help provide equipment and technology for patient care.

The Foundation expressed gratitude to all sponsors, donors, volunteers and guests who contributed to the event’s success, which raised a total of $210,005.34 for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
