Some health care services at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance sites in Chatham and Wallaceburg will be altered on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, 2026, in recognition of Good Friday and Easter Monday.
During the statutory holiday, some outpatient diagnostic tests will still take place, and patients with scheduled appointments are advised to attend. The hospital said those departments will also be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies.
Ambulatory Care Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Pre-Surgical Screening Services, the Diabetes Education Centre, TIA and CAD clinics, the Pulmonary Function Lab, Outpatient Lab Services, Health Records and Patient Appointment Offices will be closed on both dates.
The Musculoskeletal Rapid Access Clinic at the Chatham site will also be closed on April 3 and April 6.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department and the Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic will be closed on both days. For any immediate crisis, individuals are asked to call the crisis line at 1-866-299-7447 or visit the nearest emergency department.
Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham site, will be closed on both holiday dates.
The Oncology and Chemotherapy Department will also be closed on April 3 and April 6.
The Business Office and Cashier’s Office will be closed on both days, although two bill changers will remain available in the building for coin access.
Hemodialysis care will remain open on both dates.
Emergency departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will continue to operate 24 hours a day.
