Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Sarnia police have seized drugs and weapons following a recent investigation.
On October 6, 2025, members of the Sarnia Police Service Major Case Action Team concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of a 49-year-old man from Cardiff Drive. A search warrant was then executed at a residence on the street.
During the search, officers seized 22.57 grams of para-fluorofentanyl, 1.18 grams of tan fentanyl, a large dagger, a BB gun, .22 calibre ammunition, a 12-gauge shotgun shell, and drug paraphernalia. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately $4,400.
The man was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and multiple counts of breaching probation. He was held for bail and later remanded into custody by the courts.
During the execution of the search warrant, a 30-year-old woman from the residence was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for two counts of theft under $5,000. She was released following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on November 12, 2025.
