Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two people have been charged following another theft from a McNaughton Avenue retail store Thursday evening.
Police say that around 8:17 p.m. on October 16, 2025, a 46-year-old Brights Grove man and a 30-year-old Sarnia woman exited the store with merchandise without paying.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The stolen goods were recovered and returned to the store.
They were released from police custody with conditions and a court date scheduled for November 18, 2025.
