Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 31-year-old Chatham-Kent woman has been arrested in connection with a break and enter that occurred earlier this year.
On August 28, 2025, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Chatham-Kent police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence in Wallaceburg. Through investigation and surveillance footage, officers determined that a woman had entered the home through a window and removed various items.
As a result, police found reasonable grounds to charge her with break and enter, theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property under $5,000. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
On November 5, 2025, around 7:26 p.m., officers located the woman on Emily Street in Wallaceburg and arrested her on the strength of the endorsed warrant.
She was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she was released with conditions and given a court date of November 10, 2025.
