Chatham-Kent Public Library’s Wallaceburg Branch is teaming up with the Sydenham Community Curling Club (SCCC) for a special “Learn to Curl” storytime on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.
The event runs from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Sydenham Community Curling Club, located at 7379 N River Line in Wallaceburg. It is geared toward children ages five to eight, though all are welcome to attend.
An interactive storytime will be followed by a chance for kids to step onto the ice and learn curling basics from one of SCCC’s Little Rocks instructors. Only children ages five to 13 with a signed waiver will be allowed on the ice. Participants must wear clean indoor shoes and a helmet.
Activities will also be available for younger siblings or those who prefer to stay off the ice.
