Chatham-Kent man charged in voyeurism and indecent acts investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police have charged a 33-year-old local man with multiple offences after an investigation into alleged voyeuristic and indecent acts, and are urging any additional victims to come forward.

Police arrested Brent Konecny on Oct. 15 and charged him with voyeurism, committing an indecent act and criminal harassment. Investigators say the suspect may have targeted additional victims in retail stores across southwestern Ontario, including in Chatham-Kent, Windsor and London. They also believe recording devices may have been used.

Officers have released a photo of the accused as they work to identify any unreported incidents and support anyone affected. Police say the investigation remains active and more charges are possible.
