OPP officials allege: Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a death in St. Thomas.
On Sunday November 16, 2025, at approximately 10:58 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Elgin County Detachment were dispatched to a missing 58-year-old from the Municipality of Central Elgin.
The missing person was located deceased in the City of St. Thomas at 12:13 p.m.
Elgin St. Thomas Emergency Medical Services attended the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages, and residents of the area should expect to continue to see an increased police presence.
St. Thomas Police Service is investigating.
