Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two people have been charged after police attended a Nelson Street residence Tuesday and found both were violating court-imposed conditions.
Officers responded around 4:30 p.m. and arrested a 36-year-old Wallaceburg man wanted on an outstanding warrant and bound by release conditions. Police say the man was found in the company of a 33-year-old Chatham woman, which breached his conditions.
He was charged with two counts of facilitating a breach of a probation order. The woman was also found to be in violation of her own conditions and was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Both were taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
