Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 19-year-old woman from Raleigh Township is facing impaired driving charges after police found her vehicle facing the wrong direction on Queens Line early Thursday.
Officers responded at about 2:50 a.m. and found the woman in the driver’s seat showing signs of impairment. She was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing, which police say she failed.
She is charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80, and operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs. She was released with a court date of Dec. 9.
