Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 23-year-old Blenheim man wanted on a bench warrant for assault has been arrested.
Police say officers responded to a disturbance in Blenheim on Nov. 11, where a 25-year-old woman reported being physically assaulted. The man was found later that night and charged with two counts of assault, then released with a court date of Nov. 17, which he did not attend.
On Nov. 20 at 9:43 a.m., officers located the man on Grand Avenue West in Chatham and arrested him on the outstanding warrant.
