The IODE Catherine McVean Chapter is once again inviting the community to take part in its Tree of Tribute, offering residents a way to honour someone special during the holiday season.
Green bulbs are available for $10, red bulbs for $20 and white bulbs for $30, with proceeds supporting mobile mental health services in the Dresden area through the Lambton Kent Mental Health Association.
Applications may be picked up or dropped off at MacTavish Pharmacy, 480 St. George St. in Dresden. Payments can be made by cheque payable to the IODE Catherine McVean Chapter or by e-transfer to dresdeniode@gmail.com. Participants are asked to include their mailing address and the names of those being honoured.
The annual tree lighting is set for Friday, November 28 at 7 p.m. at the corner of Metcalfe Street West and St. George Street in Dresden.
All funds raised stay local, supporting mental health outreach in the community.
