Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police arrested a woman Thursday night after responding to a shoplifting call at a shopping complex on St. Clair Street.
Officers were called around 9 p.m. and were told the woman had left the store and walked toward another business in the plaza.
When police found her in the women’s clothing section, they confirmed she was wanted on three warrants.
Officers also learned she was bound by a probation order prohibiting her from being at that store.
The 32-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested on multiple charges, including two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, and failing to attend court.
She was taken to police headquarters and held for bail.
